Endangered Western Chorus Frog was cast from the bark of a tree using recycled paper during an artist residency at Soaring Gardens in Pennsylvania. All the frogs in this series have declining populations due to habitat loss, chemical and pesticide use as well as the effects of climate change. Only part of the frog can be seen in this piece to reflect how the species is at risk of disappearing completely from this planet.
