"Endangered Eastern Spadefoot Frog" was cast from the bark of a tree using recycled paper during an artist residency at Soaring Gardens in Pennsylvania. The frog is made from clay and only partially painted to show how the species is disappearing from our planet. All the frogs in this series have declining populations due to habitat loss, chemical and pesticide use as well as the effects of climate change.
